To the people who say that we never put and we have never had any scratches so far just ask them to just examine their iPad under harsh lights, like studio lights and they will get the truth of life. When you post this question in a place like Reddit that whether i should put a screen protector on my iPad Pro or not ? You will always get two kinds of answers one group who would say that I have never put any screen protector ever in my life on any of the iPad Pro I have owned and the other group who would say that we always out. I am worried about micro scratching the screen when using the pencil if any dirt/dust gets underneath but I am also worried that the screen protector may remove the oleophobic coating on the screen, or impact the overall sensitivity of the screen.ĭoes anyone have any experience with the ESR glass screen protector? Have you ever heard of screen protectors damaging the screen upon removal? I have an Otterbox folio case on it that protects the screen when not in use. I will be using it for a mix of media consumption, note taking/daily planning with the Apple pencil, home workouts, browsing and some drawing for fun. I have been reading countless posts but haven't come to a very good conclusion.
Hoping to get some thoughts on whether I should adhere a tempered glass screen protector I purchased from ESR or go bare screen on my new iPad.

#ESR OR ICAREZ SCREEN PROTECTOR FOR NEW IPAD PRO UPGRADE#
I recently purchased a new 2021 iPad Pro 11" (a big upgrade from my iPad 5th generation). The touch sensitivity feels exactly the same and the glare on the screen seems very similar to the original screen. Update: after much deliberation I decided to apply the screen protector and I am really happy with it.
